In the early months of 1998 a single individual challenged Secretary of State Madeleine Albright about the Clinton administration's saber rattling with Iraq at a CNN televised "town hall meeting." At the time Clinton was attempting to persuade the American public to support his intentions of bombing Iraq. Albright not only wouldn't answer the question, but she fled the scene once the event was officially over! This public relations fiasco stopped the Clinton White House's plans for war in the …

We support Buddy Roemer, a former Governor and Congressman who is committed to getting the secret money out of the process. As Buddy says, "We aren't Democrats or Republicans. Suddenly we have yet another election for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts. This race matters, and it matters who wins the primary. Ed Markey is passionate about the environment, pro-choice, and strong on LGBT issues. He has to ramp up fast to win the primary on April 30th! What can we do to help? Note, this meet-up is entirely independent of the official Markey campaign.
