We're a group of liberal friends who meet once a week on Thursdays to chat about politics and hang out.  Though we're a happy hour group we try to choose locations with a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as food.  We also schedule weekend events as they arise.  The events are posted both on our Facebook page and here and RSVPs are gathered from both sites.  Join us on Facebook as well, and we hope to see you soon!

We are the Socialist Reading Group of Houston. Come join us every week to study classical texts in progressive thought.
